Which medical devices companies sponsor Green Card visas in New Hampshire?
New Hampshire's medical devices industry includes employers such as Natus Medical and various contract manufacturers and device suppliers concentrated in the southern tier of the state. Larger multinational device companies with New Hampshire operations are more likely to have established immigration programs, including PERM labor certification processes, compared to smaller regional manufacturers. Sponsorship availability varies by company size, role criticality, and internal HR capacity.
Which cities in New Hampshire have the most medical devices Green Card sponsorship jobs?
Manchester and Nashua, located in southern New Hampshire along the Route 3 and Route 101 corridors, host the highest concentration of medical devices employers in the state. The Merrimack Valley area benefits from proximity to the broader Massachusetts life sciences cluster, attracting device companies that hire internationally. Concord and the Seacoast region near Portsmouth also have some device-related operations, though at smaller scale.
What types of medical devices roles typically qualify for Green Card sponsorship in New Hampshire?
Roles that typically qualify involve specialized technical or scientific expertise, including quality engineers, regulatory affairs specialists, R&D engineers, manufacturing process engineers, and software engineers working on embedded medical systems. These positions generally require a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field, supporting the employer's PERM labor certification filing. Clinical, validation, and design assurance roles with advanced credentials are also commonly sponsored by larger device companies.
How do I find medical devices Green Card sponsorship jobs in New Hampshire?
Migrate Mate lists medical devices jobs in New Hampshire that include Green Card sponsorship, letting you filter specifically by visa type and industry rather than sorting through postings that don't disclose sponsorship. Because many device employers in New Hampshire are mid-size or regional, sponsorship availability isn't always advertised upfront. Using Migrate Mate to identify confirmed sponsoring employers in this sector saves significant time in your search.
Are there state-specific considerations for Green Card sponsorship in New Hampshire's medical devices industry?
New Hampshire does not have state-level immigration programs, so Green Card sponsorship in medical devices follows federal pathways, primarily EB-2 and EB-3 through PERM labor certification. One practical consideration is New Hampshire's relatively smaller labor market compared to neighboring Massachusetts, which can affect the prevailing wage determinations and recruitment documentation requirements USCIS and DOL expect during the PERM process. Working with employers that have prior sponsorship experience in this state matters.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card medical devices jobs in New Hampshire?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
