Which companies sponsor visas for program supervisors in New Hampshire?
Healthcare systems and nonprofit social service organizations lead sponsorship activity for program supervisor roles in New Hampshire. Dartmouth Health, Catholic Medical Center, and Elliot Health System have sponsored work visas for management and supervisory roles. State-contracted behavioral health agencies, including community mental health centers operating under New Hampshire's DHHS network, also have histories of sponsoring qualified international candidates for supervisory positions.
Which visa types are most common for program supervisor roles in New Hampshire?
The H-1B is the most common visa for program supervisor roles, particularly when the position requires a bachelor's degree in a specialized field such as social work, public health, or human services administration. Canadian and Mexican nationals may qualify for TN status if the role aligns with an eligible TN occupation category. Some nonprofit employers also sponsor permanent residency through EB-2 or EB-3 pathways for long-term supervisory staff.
Which cities in New Hampshire have the most program supervisor sponsorship jobs?
Manchester is New Hampshire's largest city and the primary hub for program supervisor openings, driven by its concentration of hospitals, behavioral health providers, and social service agencies. Concord, the state capital, follows closely given the density of government-contracted nonprofits and state-affiliated healthcare facilities. Nashua and the seacoast region around Portsmouth also generate supervisory openings, particularly in community health and disability services.
How to find program supervisor visa sponsorship jobs in New Hampshire?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers and filters program supervisor roles in New Hampshire by visa sponsorship availability, saving you from manually screening postings that don't offer sponsorship. The platform surfaces opportunities across healthcare, behavioral health, and social services, which account for the majority of supervisory roles with sponsorship in the state. Setting up a profile and enabling alerts for New Hampshire program supervisor jobs is the most efficient way to stay current.
Are there state-specific factors that affect visa sponsorship for program supervisor roles in New Hampshire?
New Hampshire's behavioral health system relies heavily on state-contracted nonprofits, many of which are cap-exempt for H-1B purposes because they qualify as nonprofit organizations affiliated with higher education or providing public interest services. This means they can file H-1B petitions outside the annual lottery, which is a meaningful structural advantage for international candidates. The state's relatively small population also means less competition for supervisory openings compared to larger metro markets.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored program supervisor jobs in New Hampshire?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
