The Ohio State University at Newark seeks a part time semester lecturer to teach Korean 1101.01: Level One Korean, in Autumn 2026. The class is held synchronously online on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 3:00-3:55pm. Instructor is responsible for facilitation of in-class learning activities, assessments (i.e., quizzes, exams, and homework if applicable), offering of weekly office hours, submission of grades, and resolution of any ongoing student or course issues.
Performance Objectives
Teaching: Develop and deliver courses in formats that could include in classroom, online, or hybrid. Contribute to the creation and improvement of course content.
Education and Experience Requirements
Required: Master’s degree or equivalent. Evidence of successful teaching in introductory Korean language at a post-secondary level in an online format.
Desired: Familiarity with OSU’s Korean language curriculum.
