The School of Medicine Obstetrics and Gynecology department is seeking a full-time Clinical Faculty member.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will:
- Participate in the day to day activities of the division of OB/GYN
- Provide direct clinical supervision of residents
- Provide didactic instruction to residents
- Provide student lectures, seminar, moderation and clinical teaching in conjunction with student curriculum devised by the Clerkship Director
- Participate on the clinical research program developed in the department and facilitate recruitment of patients on an as needed basis
- Provide direct patient care
- Participate in the OB/GYN generalist call schedule on a regular basis
- Participate in the weekly in house call schedule
- Participate in other clinical activities of the department
- Consult with Chair on any potential new OB/GYN market opportunities
- Participate in productivity and cost analysis projects
- Work closely with the Curriculum committee of MUSOM to ensure compatibility of departmental goals and objectives with institutional goals and objectives
- Visit rural sites for appropriateness of training
- Explore new and innovative teaching techniques

SALARY RANGE
Salary is commensurate with education, experience, and internal equity
