Which fintech companies in New Jersey sponsor E-3 visas?
Several New Jersey-based fintech and financial technology firms have established E-3 sponsorship patterns, including Broadridge Financial Solutions in Iselin, Verisk Analytics in Jersey City, and Conduent in Florham Park. Larger financial services firms operating in the state, such as those in Jersey City's waterfront district, also file E-3 applications regularly for qualifying specialty occupation roles in software engineering, data analytics, and financial systems.
Which cities in New Jersey have the most fintech E-3 sponsorship jobs?
Jersey City concentrates the highest volume of fintech E-3 opportunities, largely because of its direct access to Manhattan's financial district and the number of financial technology firms based there. Newark, Princeton, and Iselin also have notable fintech employer presence. Princeton attracts fintech roles tied to quantitative finance and research, while Iselin and Florham Park host back-office and enterprise technology operations for large financial services companies.
What types of fintech roles typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship in New Jersey?
Roles that commonly qualify as specialty occupations under E-3 include software engineers specializing in payment systems or financial platforms, data scientists and quantitative analysts, cybersecurity engineers focused on financial compliance, and product managers with domain-specific finance or technology degrees. The position must require at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field, so roles with generalized degree requirements may not meet the specialty occupation standard.
How do I find fintech E-3 sponsorship jobs in New Jersey?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for Australian professionals seeking E-3 visa sponsorship and lists fintech roles in New Jersey from employers with active sponsorship histories. Filtering by state and visa type on Migrate Mate surfaces relevant openings faster than general job searches. Beyond the platform, targeting employers with disclosed E-3 or H-1B visa Labor Condition Applications in New Jersey is a reliable way to identify companies already comfortable with the sponsorship process.
Are there any New Jersey-specific considerations for fintech E-3 sponsorship?
New Jersey's proximity to New York City means many fintech employers operate across both states, so your Labor Condition Application must reflect the actual worksite location, which affects prevailing wage determinations. New Jersey has its own prevailing wage data under Department of Labor guidelines, and roles in Jersey City or Princeton will have different wage baselines than more suburban locations. Remote or hybrid arrangements require careful LCA documentation to ensure the correct worksite is listed.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 fintech jobs in New Jersey?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
