Which food & beverage companies sponsor E-3 visas in New Jersey?
New Jersey hosts several large food and beverage employers with documented E-3 and H-1B visa sponsorship history, including Campbell Soup Company, Ferrero USA, and Goya Foods, which is headquartered in Secaucus. Global consumer goods companies with New Jersey offices, such as Mondelez and Pernod Ricard Americas, have also filed Labor Condition Applications for specialty roles in food science, regulatory affairs, and supply chain management.
Which cities in New Jersey have the most food & beverage E-3 sponsorship jobs?
Newark and Jersey City lead in food and beverage employer density due to their proximity to New York City and major logistics infrastructure. Secaucus is notable for Goya Foods' headquarters. Camden has historically been home to Campbell Soup Company's operations. The Route 1 corridor through Edison and New Brunswick also concentrates food manufacturing and consumer goods employers who have filed specialty occupation Labor Condition Applications.
What types of food & beverage roles typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship?
E-3 sponsorship in food and beverage generally covers specialty occupation roles requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. Qualifying positions commonly include food scientist, quality assurance manager, regulatory affairs specialist, research and development formulation chemist, supply chain analyst, and process engineer. Roles like general kitchen staff or front-of-house hospitality positions typically do not meet the specialty occupation standard required for E-3 eligibility.
How do I find food & beverage E-3 sponsorship jobs in New Jersey?
Migrate Mate filters job listings by visa type and state, so you can search specifically for food and beverage roles with E-3 sponsorship in New Jersey without sorting through employers who don't sponsor. Migrate Mate surfaces employer Labor Condition Application filing history, which shows which New Jersey food and beverage companies have actively sponsored E-3 or comparable specialty occupation visas, giving you a practical starting point for targeted applications.
Are there any New Jersey-specific considerations for food & beverage E-3 sponsorship?
New Jersey's proximity to the Port of New York and New Jersey and its dense concentration of food manufacturing, distribution, and consumer goods headquarters can create more specialty occupation opportunities than less industrially concentrated states. However, E-3 eligibility is determined by the role's requirements, not the employer's location. New Jersey employers must still file a certified Labor Condition Application with the DOL and confirm the position meets the specialty occupation definition before sponsoring an E-3 applicant.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 food & beverage jobs in New Jersey?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
