We seek dedicated educators able to teach a broad range of courses, including introductory programming, data structures, discrete structures, computer architecture and systems, algorithms, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. Computer Science is a large undergraduate major in the School of Arts and Sciences, and we are especially interested in innovative approaches to teaching, including active learning, thoughtful integration of AI tools in education, and courses that scale to large student populations.
Located in New Jersey, Rutgers University is a premier, Research 1, public land grant institution that reflects the broad spectrum of backgrounds in the state. The School of Arts and Sciences, the largest and most comprehensive school at Rutgers University, is especially interested in candidates who can advance the goals and values expressed in the SAS Strategic Plan.
