Which healthcare companies sponsor TN visas in New Jersey?
New Jersey's largest health systems, including RWJBarnabas Health, Hackensack Meridian Health, Atlantic Health System, and Saint Peter's Healthcare System, regularly hire in TN visa-eligible roles. Major academic medical centers affiliated with Rutgers and Cooper Health also bring on international clinical and research staff. Sponsorship patterns vary by facility and role, so confirming TN support directly with each employer's HR or recruitment team is the standard approach.
Which cities in New Jersey have the most healthcare TN sponsorship jobs?
Newark, New Brunswick, Morristown, Hackensack, and Camden concentrate the highest volumes of healthcare hiring in New Jersey. Newark is home to University Hospital and several large health networks. New Brunswick anchors the Robert Wood Johnson health corridor. Southern New Jersey around Camden has a growing clinical presence through Cooper University Health Care. Suburban markets like Parsippany and Edison also post consistent demand for qualified healthcare professionals.
What types of healthcare roles typically qualify for TN sponsorship?
The TN visa covers a defined list of healthcare occupations including physicians, nurses (registered), physical and occupational therapists, medical laboratory technologists, dietitians, pharmacists, and several allied health roles. Qualifying typically requires a relevant post-secondary degree and, for clinical roles, active state licensure in New Jersey. Roles that do not appear on the TN occupation list, such as medical assistants or home health aides, are not eligible regardless of employer.
How do I find healthcare TN sponsorship jobs in New Jersey?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for TN-eligible job seekers and lets you filter by visa type, state, and industry to surface healthcare roles in New Jersey where employers are open to TN sponsorship. Because TN sponsorship is often confirmed informally rather than advertised in job postings, using a platform focused on visa-sponsoring employers saves significant time compared to searching general job boards and cold-filtering results.
Are there any state-specific considerations for healthcare TN workers in New Jersey?
New Jersey requires independent state licensure for most licensed healthcare professions, including registered nurses, physical therapists, and pharmacists. The New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs oversees most clinical licensing boards, and processing times vary by profession. TN status can be obtained before a full license is in hand in some cases, but employers generally expect licensure to be in place before you begin direct patient care. Confirm the specific sequencing with your employer and an immigration professional.
