- Innate desire to learn, innovate, and critique ideas including one’s own
- At least a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related fields
- Experience with magnetic confinement fusion, aerospace, medical devices, or other highly technical industries is ideal
Company Benefits:
- Salary range $85,000-$150,000
- Comprehensive health benefits (e.g. medical/dental/vision)
- Employee equity stock options
- 20 days PTO
Requirements
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to perform activities such as typing, standing, or sitting for extended periods of time
- Willingness to occasionally travel or work required nights/weekends/on-call
- Ability to work in a facility that contains industrial hazards including heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, high voltage, high current, pressure systems, and cryogenics
It’s not necessary to meet all of the skillsets outlined above. Please feel free to send us a note and tell us why you would still be a great fit for this role or Thea Energy.
Diversity and Inclusion: Thea Energy is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a company of diverse backgrounds. Which electronics companies sponsor TN visas in New Jersey?
New Jersey's electronics hiring is anchored by employers such as Siemens, Lockheed Martin, L3Harris, and Honeywell, which maintain engineering operations across the state. Smaller contract manufacturers and semiconductor suppliers in the Route 1 corridor and Morris County also hire TN-eligible candidates for engineering and technical roles. Sponsorship willingness varies by employer and role, so confirming directly with the hiring team is always worthwhile.
Which cities in New Jersey have the most electronics TN sponsorship jobs?
The highest concentration of electronics roles in New Jersey tends to cluster around Princeton, Parsippany, Moorestown, and Mount Laurel, where defense and hardware firms operate significant engineering facilities. The Route 1 tech corridor between Princeton and New Brunswick also hosts a steady number of hardware and semiconductor employers. Jersey City and Newark see some electronics hiring tied to larger corporate operations with tri-state footprints.
What types of electronics roles typically qualify for TN sponsorship?
TN visa sponsorship in electronics most commonly applies to roles with a clear engineering classification, including electrical engineers, electronics engineers, computer engineers, and industrial engineers. The position must qualify as a TN-eligible occupation under the USMCA occupations list, and the employer must verify that a relevant bachelor's degree or higher is a standard requirement for the role. Technician-level positions without a degree requirement generally do not qualify.
How do I find electronics TN sponsorship jobs in New Jersey?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. You can filter by TN visa type, select New Jersey as the target state, and browse electronics and hardware roles from employers who have indicated sponsorship willingness. This saves significant time compared to manually reviewing postings that rarely specify visa support upfront. Migrate Mate's job board is updated regularly, making it a practical starting point for Canadian and Mexican nationals targeting New Jersey electronics roles.
Are there any New Jersey-specific considerations for electronics TN sponsorship?
New Jersey's proximity to Philadelphia and New York City means some employers list roles under a regional footprint, so positions may technically be based in a neighboring state even if the team operates out of New Jersey. Additionally, many of the state's larger electronics employers work on defense contracts, which can introduce security clearance requirements that affect hiring timelines for international candidates. Confirming work location and clearance expectations early in the application process helps avoid surprises.
