PURPOSE: The Manager, Compliance / Complaints Manager will:
Be responsible for oversight of all aspects of the complaint intake department.
Responsibilities
The Manager, Compliance / Complaints Manager is responsible for:
- Monitoring staff for proper procedures regarding the intake and triage review process;
- Reviewing all consumer complaints and constituent complaints for allegations of abuse, neglect, exploitation, injuries of unknown origin and other reportable incidents;
- Reviewing incident reports for immediate jeopardy;
- Communicating effectively with Joint Protocol partners from other state agencies;
- Providing effective supervision to intake staff.
CUSTOMERS
This position serves Intake Coordinators and Lead Intake Coordinator, facility providers, and New Mexico residents receiving healthcare services.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in any field of study from an accredited college or university and four (4) years of professional-level experience with a tactical impact directly related to the purpose of the position defined by the agency at the time of recruitment. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling eight (8) years may substitute for the required education and experience. A hiring agency will designate a portion of the required experience to include supervisory and/or specialized experience. Any required licensure, certification or registration shall be defined at the time of recruitment and will be in addition to the above requirements.
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
- Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.
- Must obtain a Defensive Driving Certificate.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is performed in an office setting. On-call duties may be required on occasion. There may be some instances when onsite training is done at healthcare facilities.
