Which visa types are most common for project administrator roles in North Carolina?

You can filter by state and role type to see which Research Triangle technology employers, Charlotte financial firms, or healthcare systems are actively hiring project administrators who need visa support.
Are there any state-specific considerations for project administrators seeking visa sponsorship in North Carolina?
North Carolina's Research Triangle is home to a large university pipeline through NC State, UNC Chapel Hill, and Duke, meaning employers are experienced with OPT and H-1B transitions for project administration graduates. The state's strong construction and infrastructure sectors mean project administrator roles can span IT project management and capital project coordination, which affects how employers frame specialty occupation eligibility for H-1B petitions.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored project administrator jobs in North Carolina?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
