INTRODUCTION
What started in 1989 as a family-owned video rental store grew into a trusted partner dedicated to helping libraries thrive. A single suggestion to sell VHS tapes (remember those?) to public libraries inspired our founder, John Eldred, to start Midwest Tape LLC – and set our mission in motion.
Fast forward to over 35 years later, we provide libraries across North America, New Zealand, and Australia with innovative products and equitable access to content. Backed by a passion for exceptional service and a deep understanding of library needs, we fuel libraries with unparalleled access to top-tier media content including physical media (audiobooks, DVDs, CDs, and read-alongs) as well as our digital platform, Hoopla Digital.
Hoopla, available on iOS, Android, and desktop, combines our decades of media expertise with modern technology to deliver an all-in-one experience for libraries and their patrons. With one of the strongest catalogs in the digital library space, Hoopla empowers libraries to reach patrons wherever they are.
We proudly partner with our library partners and content providers to strengthen communities through access to educational resources and entertainment experiences. Since 1989, our commitment has remained the same: supporting libraries with solutions that make a difference because strong libraries build healthy communities.

Which distribution and wholesale companies sponsor TN visas in Ohio?
Large distributors and wholesalers with established HR infrastructure are most likely to sponsor TN visas in Ohio. Companies like Cardinal Health, Procter & Gamble, and McKesson have Ohio operations and documented histories of sponsoring work visas for qualified professionals. Regional logistics firms and third-party logistics providers headquartered in Columbus, Cleveland, and Cincinnati also hire TN-eligible candidates, particularly for management, engineering, and analyst roles.
Which cities in Ohio have the most distribution and wholesale TN sponsorship jobs?
Columbus is Ohio's primary hub for distribution and wholesale hiring, partly due to its central location and proximity to major interstate corridors. Cleveland supports a strong industrial wholesale sector tied to manufacturing supply chains. Cincinnati's location near the Kentucky border makes it a logistics crossroads with active wholesale operations. Dayton and Toledo also have distribution activity, though at smaller scale than the three major metros.
What types of distribution and wholesale roles typically qualify for TN sponsorship?
TN visas require the role to fall under a specific NAFTA/USMCA occupation category. In distribution and wholesale, roles that commonly qualify include industrial engineers, management consultants, computer systems analysts, and accountants. Operations managers with the right educational background may also qualify. Roles that are primarily manual, supervisory without a degree requirement, or general logistics coordination typically do not meet TN specialty occupation standards.
How do I find distribution and wholesale TN sponsorship jobs in Ohio?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. You can filter by TN visa type, the distribution and wholesale industry, and Ohio as your target state to see roles from employers open to sponsoring Canadian and Mexican nationals. Because TN sponsorship is employer-driven, focusing on larger Ohio-based distributors and those with existing international hiring experience improves your chances of finding positions where sponsorship is a realistic option.
Are there Ohio-specific considerations for TN sponsorship in distribution and wholesale?
Ohio's distribution sector is heavily tied to manufacturing supply chains, meaning many roles involve industrial or operational contexts that may strengthen a TN petition if your degree aligns with engineering or management disciplines. Ohio does not impose state-level visa requirements, but employers in regulated wholesale sectors like pharmaceuticals or chemicals may have additional compliance considerations that affect hiring timelines. Working with an employer familiar with TN sponsorship processes is advisable.
