Major Oklahoma employers include Love's Travel Stops (headquartered in Oklahoma City), Hobby Lobby's distribution centers, and agricultural commodity companies like Oklahoma Wheat Growers Association. Oil and gas equipment distributors, pharmaceutical wholesalers, and food distribution companies also sponsor visas for specialized roles including supply chain analysts, logistics coordinators, and inventory management specialists.
Which cities in Oklahoma have the most distribution & wholesale sponsorship jobs?
Oklahoma City leads with corporate headquarters and major distribution facilities, followed by Tulsa's industrial corridor. Broken Arrow, Moore, and Norman also host significant distribution operations. Agricultural distribution centers are concentrated in western Oklahoma towns, while Lawton serves military supply chain operations. The I-35 and I-40 corridors contain most major logistics facilities.
How to find distribution & wholesale visa sponsorship jobs in Oklahoma?
Migrate Mate specializes in connecting international candidates with Oklahoma distribution and wholesale employers who sponsor work visas. The platform filters opportunities by industry and location, showing which companies actively sponsor H-1B visa, TN visa, and other visa types for roles like supply chain managers, distribution analysts, and logistics coordinators in Oklahoma's major industrial centers.
Which visa types are most common for distribution & wholesale roles in Oklahoma?
H-1B visas are common for analytical roles like supply chain optimization, demand forecasting, and logistics management requiring specialized degrees. TN visas serve Canadian and Mexican professionals in management and engineering positions. L-1 visas apply to international companies transferring employees to Oklahoma operations, while O-1 visas are rare except for highly specialized logistics technology roles.
What makes Oklahoma's distribution & wholesale market unique for visa seekers?
Oklahoma's central U.S. location makes it a strategic distribution hub, creating demand for logistics expertise and supply chain optimization. The state's agricultural economy generates specialized commodity trading and distribution roles. Lower living costs compared to coastal markets can make visa sponsorship more attractive to employers, while universities like Oklahoma State provide supply chain management talent pipelines.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored distribution & wholesale jobs in Oklahoma?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
