Danfoss in Shawnee, Oklahoma is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician provides support to Plant Operations in repairing and maintaining production equipment throughout the plant. This is a 2nd Shift position, with work hours 11:00 pm to 3:00 am.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems to the faulty component under the instruction of the Maintenance Manager.
- Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions using test equipment under the instruction of the Maintenance manager.
- Analyze machine error messages and information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems.
- Troubleshoot and repair the mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and control system components of production equipment.
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
- Follow all Safety Rules, including PPE and OSHA.
- Performs basic maintenance duties and repairs as assigned.
- Complete all required reporting and documentation.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
- Two (2) years hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical or electronic systems preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret electronic/hydraulic drawings, schematics, and engineering blueprints to determine problem root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Ability to read precision measuring instruments such as Micrometers, Calipers, Indicators, Levels, and Lasers are a plus.
- Physically capable of prolonged standing and working in positions that require bending and stretching while performing maintenance tasks.
- Strong Computer Skills.
- Able to follow detailed instructions and procedures to complete tasks and required documentation.
- All other duties as assigned.
