Job Overview
Quality Assurance is responsible for supporting daily operations, ensuring quality standards are being met, and improving the manufacturing process by removing waste and change.
A Day In The Life
Every day at Hubbell is different and you’ll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you’ll make a difference by:
- Performing in-process and final product acceptance based on AQL sampling.
- Coordinating process improvement activities with work order; drawing changes with Mfg. Engineering and Operations as required.
- Willing to assist or coordinate auditor efforts in other areas as required.
- Keeping management apprised of progress and obstacles that constrain attainment of company objectives.
- Understanding the plant policies and environment as it pertains to the safety of employees, operation of equipment, handling of equipment, and materials.
- Understanding and monitoring QA and Production performance as defined in foundry control plans.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Prior Quality Assurance auditing experience (required)
- Record of passing HPS QA Test (required)
- Experience with SAP systems preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
