What You Will Do
- Coordinate and supervise employees in an operational unit
- Maintain production schedules and quality of work
- Review work orders, production specifications, technical instructions, facility requirements, tool requisitions, equipment, and supplies for department
- Coordinate employee recruitment, selection, performance assessments, work assignments, salaries, recognition/corrective actions, promotions, transfers, and terminations
- Review and compile operations records, such as scrap and maintenance costs
- May have responsibility to oversee other departments as necessary
Position Details
- Shift is generally M-F starting around 5:00 am and may be 8, 10, or 12 hours.
- Additional hours and some weekend work may be required as business requires.
Minimum Qualifications
- Role is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.
- Prior experience leading a team
- Intermediate knowledge of industrial safety
- Ability to execute strategies and initiatives
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Good oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain and train
- Organization and time management skills
- Interact politely and professionally with customers and/or coworkers
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years ESP specific experience, including 1 year in a supervisory role

- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

- Requires visual and hearing acuity.
- Work primarily occurs in a heated and air-conditioned manufacturing environment but may also be performed in a shop that is not air-conditioned.
- Hazards include proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current or exposure to chemicals.
- Atmospheric conditions that affect the respiratory system or skin may include fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.
- Potential skin exposure to oils and other cutting fluids.
