What We Do
First American is looking to add a Contracts Assistant to our team working in Norman, OK. In this role, you will work with land surveys of commercial properties from our vendor. This will include property research and location, review, and communication with land surveyors.
- Conducts property research for the determination and location of commercial property.
- Extracts and enters this information in appropriate data onto the application, other form, or database.
- Review of client requirements to determine a proposed survey scope.
- Analyzes and interprets this information to meet client needs.
- Conversational skills both by phone and email with land surveyors.
- Strong organizational skills and a multi-tasking ability.

- PC Skills, especially proficient in Microsoft Office, mostly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Phone and communication skills, internal and external.
- Internet search abilities.
- Strong attention to detail, and tenacity for solving problems.
- Self-disciplined and motivated, desire to accomplish.
- Sound judgment on decision making with ability to ask questions when necessary.
- Ability to work well as a member of a team in a high paced office environment.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Pay Range: $16.63 - $22.18 Hourly
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
