Which consulting companies sponsor visas in Oklahoma?
Major visa sponsors include energy consulting firms like Chesapeake Energy and Devon Energy, plus regional offices of national consulting companies such as Accenture, Deloitte, and IBM. Many focus on energy sector consulting, IT transformation, and business advisory services. Oklahoma City and Tulsa host the highest concentration of sponsoring employers.
How to find consulting visa sponsorship jobs in Oklahoma?
Migrate Mate specializes in connecting international consultants with Oklahoma employers who sponsor work visas. Filter by consulting roles in Oklahoma City, Tulsa, and other cities to find positions in management consulting, IT consulting, and energy advisory services. The platform shows which companies have previously sponsored similar roles.
Which visa types are most common for consulting roles in Oklahoma?
H-1B visas dominate for management consultants, business analysts, and IT consultants requiring specialized knowledge. TN visas work for Canadian and Mexican nationals in eligible consulting categories. L-1 visas are common for international consulting firms transferring employees to Oklahoma offices, particularly in energy consulting.
Which cities in Oklahoma have the most consulting sponsorship jobs?
Oklahoma City leads with the highest number of consulting visa sponsorship opportunities, followed by Tulsa. Both cities host energy company headquarters and regional consulting offices. Norman benefits from University of Oklahoma proximity, while smaller markets like Lawton and Enid have fewer but specialized consulting roles.
What are prevailing wage considerations for consulting jobs in Oklahoma?
Oklahoma's lower cost of living typically results in prevailing wages below coastal markets, but still competitive for the region. Energy consulting roles often command higher wages due to specialized expertise. The Department of Labor sets specific prevailing wage rates by occupation code and Oklahoma county for visa applications.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored consulting jobs in Oklahoma?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
