Which companies sponsor visas for radiologic technologists in Oklahoma?
The most active sponsors for radiologic technologist roles in Oklahoma are large health systems, including INTEGRIS Health, OU Health, Mercy Oklahoma, Saint Francis Hospital (Tulsa), and SSM Health. These organizations have established HR infrastructure for employment-based visa sponsorship and regularly hire imaging professionals. Smaller regional hospitals and outpatient imaging centers occasionally sponsor as well, though less consistently than major academic and faith-based health systems.
Which visa types are most common for radiologic technologist roles in Oklahoma?
The H-1B visa is the most commonly used category for radiologic technologists in Oklahoma, as the role typically meets the specialty occupation requirement given its degree-level clinical training. The EB-3 immigrant visa is also common for facilities willing to sponsor permanent residency through PERM labor certification. Some employers work with J-1 exchange visitor programs for specific training contexts, though direct employment sponsorship through H-1B or EB-3 is the primary path.
Which cities in Oklahoma have the most radiologic technologist sponsorship jobs?
Oklahoma City accounts for the largest share of radiologic technologist sponsorship opportunities in the state, driven by OU Health's academic medical center, INTEGRIS facilities, and several outpatient imaging networks. Tulsa is the second-largest market, anchored by Saint Francis Health System and Hillcrest Healthcare. Lawton, Norman, and Edmond have smaller but growing healthcare infrastructure, and rural critical access hospitals across the state increasingly recruit internationally trained technologists to fill persistent staffing gaps.
How to find radiologic technologist visa sponsorship jobs in Oklahoma?
Migrate Mate is designed specifically for this search. You can filter by state and role to see radiologic technologist positions in Oklahoma where employers have indicated visa sponsorship. Because sponsorship availability isn't always listed on general job postings, Migrate Mate surfaces relevant opportunities that international candidates would otherwise miss. Focusing on Oklahoma City and Tulsa metro employers when browsing will return the most active postings for internationally trained rad techs.
Are there state-specific considerations for radiologic technologists seeking sponsorship in Oklahoma?
Oklahoma requires radiologic technologists to hold state licensure through the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision, and employers will expect ARRT certification as a baseline. International candidates should confirm their credentials are recognized before beginning a sponsorship process. Oklahoma's healthcare market skews toward large regional health systems and rural hospitals, both of which tend to have longer hiring timelines than urban academic centers, so building in adequate lead time for credentialing and visa processing is important.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored radiologic technologist jobs in Oklahoma?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
