Which e-commerce companies in Oregon sponsor Green Card visas?
Nike, headquartered in Beaverton, is one of Oregon's most active Green Card sponsors and operates a significant e-commerce and digital commerce division. Portland-area companies in online retail, marketplace platforms, and fulfillment technology have also filed PERM labor certifications for international employees. Sponsorship activity is concentrated among mid-size to large employers with established immigration programs rather than early-stage startups.
Which cities in Oregon have the most e-commerce Green Card sponsorship jobs?
Portland and Beaverton together account for the large majority of e-commerce Green Card sponsorship activity in Oregon. Portland's Pearl District and Lloyd District host digital commerce and marketplace companies, while Beaverton is anchored by Nike's campus. Smaller concentrations exist in Hillsboro, which benefits from proximity to the broader Portland metro tech corridor and established corporate employers with immigration infrastructure.
What types of e-commerce roles typically qualify for Green Card sponsorship in Oregon?
Roles that qualify for Green Card sponsorship are generally those requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field. In Oregon's e-commerce sector, this includes software engineers, data scientists, product managers, UX designers, and digital marketing analysts. Supply chain and logistics technology roles have also appeared in PERM filings. Roles without a defined degree requirement or with broadly substitutable qualifications are less likely to qualify.
How do I find e-commerce Green Card sponsorship jobs in Oregon?
Migrate Mate is a job board built specifically for international candidates and filters e-commerce roles in Oregon by visa type, including Green Card sponsorship. Searching Migrate Mate lets you focus on employers who have a documented history of sponsoring permanent residence rather than sifting through general job listings where sponsorship status is unclear. Filtering by industry and state narrows results to Oregon-based e-commerce positions with active sponsorship.
Are there any Oregon-specific considerations for Green Card sponsorship in e-commerce?
Oregon does not have state-level immigration programs, so Green Card sponsorship follows federal PERM labor certification rules regardless of location. One practical consideration is that Oregon's e-commerce market is smaller than California's, meaning fewer total sponsoring employers. However, competition for roles at major Oregon employers like Nike can still be substantial. Candidates should confirm that a prospective employer has existing immigration counsel and an established sponsorship process before accepting an offer.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card e-commerce jobs in Oregon?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
