What Are My Responsibilities as a Sales Intern at Steel Dynamics?
- B2B prospecting using SalesForce database
- Identify trade organization events
- Assist with events and promotions (summer – travel)
- Distribute marketing reports
- Assist in special projects
QUALIFICATIONS
What Qualifications Do I Need?
- Candidate should be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in a marketing related major
- Must have completed at least their freshman year
- Preferred GPA of at least 2.7
- Must be highly organized and have a strong ability to multitask
- Priorities frequently change, requiring great flexibility
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees and management
- Ability to concisely document sales programs, findings and recommendations
- Strong analytical and issue identification, prioritization and resolution skills
- Ability to work successfully both independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to act objectively and within the strictest environment of confidentiality
- Must be highly proficient with PC applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
