Overnight - Veterinary Technician Assistant

What You’ll Do
As an Overnight Veterinary Technician Assistant, you will play a vital role in patient care and hospital operations by supporting our Technicians and Doctors:
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized hospital environment through routine cleaning and disinfection
- Assist with general patient care and monitoring, including ER and ICU support
- Safely restrain patients for exams, treatments, and diagnostics
- Support care for high-risk and isolation patients (with appropriate training/clearance)
- Perform basic laboratory tests (PCV/TS, CBC, chemistries, urinalysis, blood glucose, etc.)
- Assist with radiographs for stable patients (with proper training/clearance)
- Stock and organize medical supplies throughout the hospital
- Manage laundry, waste disposal (including medical waste), and kennel upkeep
- Contribute to overall team efficiency and patient comfort during overnight hours
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior veterinary or animal care experience strongly encouraged
- Experience with canine/feline restraint preferred
- Basic lab skills and introductory radiology safety knowledge a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive, positive, “can-do” attitude
- Ability to lift, pull, or move up to 35 lbs.
- Flexibility to work overnights, weekends, and rotating holidays
Pre-Veterinary, Animal Science, or Veterinary Technician students/graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
