- Design/Develop actions within Lean Optima
- Drive alignment of Astec’s Customer Focus Principles
- Manage strategic account growth
- Research competitive parts growth opportunities
- Develop, execute, and oversee strategies and plans to achieve set growth targets
- Partner with Regional Sales Directors to enhance parts market approach
- Create and maintain accurate records and sales reports
- Build and maintain good, lasting relationships with customers
- Direct, train and develop parts territory sales managers
- Improve and grow customer base
- Research and record competitor’s market plan, market pricing and market share
- Identify prospective customers and growth opportunities outside the established customer portfolio and product list
- Assist in the research and identification of effective market pricing
- Build a best in class, customer centric, parts sales team
To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are:
- Degree in business or marketing preferred or relative experience
- 10 or more years of experience in sales and customer service
- Initiative, drive and enthusiasm
- Prior managerial experience
- Excellent communication skills
