DESCRIPTION
Join Amazon Healthcare Finance Operations Services as a Revenue Cycle Manager focused on transforming healthcare financial operations. In this role, you will serve as a key leader in optimizing revenue cycle management, with particular emphasis on back end revenue cycle processes (billing, collections, denial management and overall Accounts Receivable (AR) management). You will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative programs to improve clean claim rates, reduce denials and improve overall collections. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will develop scalable solutions that support Amazon Health's continued growth. Through data-driven insights, you will identify opportunities and implement industry best practices to drive operational excellence.
The ideal candidate brings strong operational leadership experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, demonstrates exceptional analytical capabilities, and has a proven track record of driving process excellence and financial improvements.
The Finance Operations organization works with every part of Amazon to provide procure-to-pay, revenue-to-receipt, real-estate and facilities, operations accounting and operations excellence services with the highest level of controllership at the lowest cost to the company. We provide the backbone systems and operational processes which completely, accurately, and validly pay Amazon’s suppliers, invoice our customers and report financial results. As a technology-forward leader, you will lead the evaluation and implementation of new front-end tools, and contribute to emerging AI initiatives, and explore the use of robotic process engineering (RPA) to remove low value work tasks. Your expertise will be essential in developing and executing detailed process improvement plans that emphasize standardization, scalability, and automation, with specific focus on enhancing time-of-service collections, reducing claim denials, improving customer satisfaction metrics, and minimizing bad debt write-offs.
Working collaboratively across the organization, you will represent accounts receivable interests in upstream projects and partner with business stakeholders on optimization efforts. Which companies in Virginia sponsor visas for revenue managers?
Hospitality groups are the most active sponsors, with Marriott International (headquartered in Bethesda but with major Virginia operations) and Hilton Worldwide in McLean filing H-1B petitions for revenue manager roles. Defense and technology contractors such as Booz Allen Hamilton and SAIC also sponsor revenue analysts in senior roles. Hotel management companies operating in the Northern Virginia and Hampton Roads markets round out the sponsoring employer pool.
Which visa types are most common for revenue manager roles in Virginia?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for revenue managers in Virginia, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in business, hospitality management, economics, or a related field. Candidates already in the U.S. on F-1 OPT or STEM OPT may work for qualifying employers while an H-1B petition is filed. The TN visa covers Canadians and Mexicans in some analyst-level roles with appropriate credentials.
Which cities in Virginia have the most revenue manager sponsorship jobs?
Northern Virginia, particularly Arlington, McLean, Tysons Corner, and Reston, concentrates the highest volume of revenue manager sponsorship opportunities due to its density of hotel brands, corporate headquarters, and federal contractors. Virginia Beach and Norfolk in the Hampton Roads region generate consistent demand through resort and conference hotel properties. Richmond has a smaller but steady pipeline tied to regional hotel groups and healthcare-adjacent hospitality operations.
How to find revenue manager visa sponsorship jobs in Virginia?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can search revenue manager roles in Virginia without sifting through positions that exclude international candidates. Migrate Mate aggregates openings from sponsoring employers across Northern Virginia's hospitality and corporate sectors as well as Hampton Roads hotel properties. Setting up a targeted search by role and state gives you a focused view of active sponsoring employers rather than the full general market.
Are there any Virginia-specific considerations for revenue manager visa sponsorship?
Virginia employers sponsoring H-1B workers must meet the Department of Labor's prevailing wage requirement for the specific metro area, and wage levels differ between the Northern Virginia-Washington DC metro and Hampton Roads markets. Northern Virginia's proximity to major hotel brand headquarters and a large federal contractor base means more employers are experienced with the sponsorship process. Hospitality management programs at Virginia Tech and George Mason University also produce candidates familiar to local hiring managers.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored revenue manager jobs in Virginia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
