If your answer is YES, then Farmington Country Club presents an exciting opportunity for you to join our culinary team as a Line Cook in The Grill! Our Line Cooks are responsible for the daily production of food for the Club's casual dining and fine dining restaurants.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up, maintain, and break down workstations.
- Follow daily prep lists and instructions the supervisor provides and be ready for service by the specified times.
- Maintain clean, sanitary, and safe workstations and equipment.
- Attend daily pre-shift meetings.
- Work alongside and learn from experienced and knowledgeable chefs, including Executive Chef Michael Matarazzo, CEC.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen a plus but not required.
- Professional knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety procedures.
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift 25 lbs. comfortably.
- Ability to bend and twist with no limitations.
- Ability to work on feet for long periods of time.
