Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS-based infrastructure environments to support enterprise applications and services
- Champion Infrastructure-as-Code best practices using Terraform for repeatable, automated deployments
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and DevOps teams to ensure infrastructure meets compliance, scalability, and cost optimization goals
- Architect solutions for complex environments including VPC design, IAM policies, networking, monitoring, and disaster recovery
- Develop CI/CD pipelines to deploy infrastructure and applications reliably and securely
- Evaluate new AWS services and recommend improvements for existing architecture and tooling
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and documentation for infrastructure design patterns and standards
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience: 7+ years in cloud infrastructure roles, with at least 4 years in AWS architecture
- Required Skills:
- Deep understanding of AWS core services (EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.)
- Advanced Terraform skills, including modular infrastructure design and state management
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance principles in the cloud
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline)
- Scripting proficiency (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Preferred Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, or equivalent
