ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Project Coordinator in our Washington, D.C. office, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.
Why We Need You:
In this role, you will be responsible for activities that contribute to timely, high quality and efficient project execution on projects of limited size, scope, and complexity. You will work closely with the Commissioning internal and external project team members to carry out coordination support duties, in accordance with AEI policies and standards.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in professional services, ideally supporting HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, or electrical projects.
- Prior construction industry experience is highly valued.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of project management principles, processes, and coordination practices is a plus.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong spoken and written communications skills.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Quick technical comprehension and motivation focused on client outcomes.
- Able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
- Effective working individually and within team environments.
