Which companies sponsor visas for program supervisors in Washington?
Technology companies headquartered in the Seattle metro area, including Microsoft and Amazon, sponsor program supervisors through the H-1B visa. Healthcare systems such as UW Medicine and Providence Health also file sponsorship petitions for supervisory roles in clinical and community health programs. State and county government agencies, along with large nonprofits, represent additional sponsoring employers, particularly for social services and public health program supervision.
Which visa types are most common for program supervisor roles in Washington?
The H-1B is the most common visa for program supervisor positions, provided the role qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as public health, social work, or a technical discipline. The TN visa covers Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. The O-1A applies to supervisors with demonstrated extraordinary achievement in their field.
Which cities in Washington have the most program supervisor sponsorship jobs?
Seattle accounts for the largest share of program supervisor sponsorship activity in Washington, driven by its concentration of technology firms, healthcare institutions, and government agencies. Bellevue and Redmond generate additional opportunities through the tech sector. Tacoma and Spokane have meaningful hiring in healthcare administration and social services, with Spokane seeing activity tied to regional hospital networks and human services organizations.
How to find program supervisor visa sponsorship jobs in Washington?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can browse program supervisor openings in Washington without sorting through roles that don't offer sponsorship. The platform covers positions across Seattle, Bellevue, Tacoma, and other Washington markets in healthcare, tech, and nonprofit sectors. Filtering by role and state helps you identify active sponsoring employers quickly rather than researching each company individually.
Are there state-specific considerations for program supervisor visa sponsorship in Washington?
Washington's prevailing wage requirements under H-1B rules reflect the Seattle metro area's competitive compensation benchmarks, which rank among the highest in the country for supervisory roles. Employers in Washington's public sector and nonprofit sector sometimes use different hiring timelines than private tech firms. Candidates with backgrounds in public health, behavioral health, or technology program management align well with the state's most active sponsoring industries.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored program supervisor jobs in Washington?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
