Job Title: Senior Construction Manager
Location: West Virginia
Due to the confidential nature of the project, the exact location cannot be disclosed at this time. The project site will be located within West Virginia but is not in Charleston. Charleston is listed solely for job-posting and advertising purposes. Candidates will receive additional location details at the appropriate stage of the recruitment process.
Pay Range: $170,000-$190,000/year plus benefits
Project Duration: 1 - 1.5 years
Anticipated Start Date: August 15, 2026
Project Details (Size, SOW, Site Background, etc.):
- Size of Project: Large campus
- SOW: Confidential
- Site Background, etc.: Manufacturing buildings, warehouses, support buildings; some horizontal
APSI is in search of an experienced Senior Construction Manager to serve as a Client representative for a large site development project.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Observe and review progress of work activities with the planned schedule for completion. Identify areas of progress, delays, obstacles and challenges. Provide written reports of findings.
- Primary day-to-day point of contact for the Client
- Provide strategic guidance with project goals and objectives for alignment with the Owner’s critical needs
- Engage in project meetings as necessary
- Assess risk allocation and management strategies for the projects
- Evaluate the impact of project progress and make recommendations on any necessary course of action
- Provide functional direction within areas of responsibility for construction project schedules, cost control, dispute resolution, contract administration, and quality control
- Review and take recommended actions in resolving disputes related to construction projects.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture
- 20 years of construction related experience
