INTRODUCTION

The School of Theatre and Dance at West Virginia University invites applications for part-time Adjunct positions to teach undergraduate, graduate, or non-credentialled courses.

The School currently offers the following programs:

• Costume Design and Technology MFA
• Lighting Design and Technology MFA
• Scenic Design and Technology MFA
• Technical Direction MFA

Undergraduate Programs

• Acting BFA
• Dance BA
• Musical Theatre BFA
• Theatre BA
• Theatre Design and Technology BFA

QUALIFICATIONS

Adjunct teaching positions prefer candidates that possess a terminal degree (master’s or doctoral) in a closely related discipline, along with related professional experience. Candidates that possess a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline along with substantial, highly specialized industry experience will also be considered.

These positions are not anticipated to be benefits-eligible.
