INTRODUCTION
Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Senior Growth Sites-Front End Engineering Program Manager. This position can sit out of one of the following locations: Beachwood OH, Galesburg MI, Houston TX, Menomonee Falls WI, Moon Township PA, or Raleigh NC. The expected annual salary range for this role is $165,000 - $242,000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking an expert-level Senior Program Manager with broad experience in program management. The ideal candidate will translate business or functional vision into plans and guide their execution, participating in the development of business or functional strategy and being accountable for results that impact the entire business or function. Senior Program Manager will be responsible for the most complex programs in the IT Portfolio.
This role sits within IT Operations & Enterprise PMO, providing the operating backbone for how we organize work to support Eaton's Key Growth Sites. This role is responsible for organizing and scaling our operating model across our Key Strategic Growth (KSG) sites (i.e. Asheville El Paso 2 Greenwood Omaha). The Senior Program Manager owns the end-to-end Front-End Engineering value stream (Quote Engineering Release) across these sites — one roadmap, one KPI set, one outcome story — scaling proven solutions site to site rather than running each site as standalone project work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement program plans and strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Lead and manage complex program activities, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Collaborate with the CI, digital, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of program initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of program strategies and make necessary adjustments.
- Provide support and guidance to team members to help them achieve program objectives.
- Communicate program initiatives and their impact to all stakeholders effectively.
Coordinate Value-Stream based Delivery:
- Drive one outcome story across the Quote Engineering Release roadmap, milestones, and KPI performance across all the growth sites, rather than site-by-site execution.
- Partner with CI and Digital (IT) delivery teams to organize the work to deliver the front-end digital backbone — configure/quote-to-order, engineering automation, and PLM/BOM-master integrity. Leverage key resource teams such as Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, and Integrated Ops to drive outcomes (IT delivers the digital backbone; Integrated Ops defines the process).
- Plan out the forward-deployment plan for where we take a capability next, in partnership with capability owners and BRMs.
- Ensure our teams create repeatable standard work so it can be scaled to prioritized growth sites; manage cross-site sequencing and dependencies.
- Partner in the operating model — BRMs own funding, business prioritization, and benefit realization; CI designs the process improvements; and site leads deploy and sustain. You own coordination, delivery, KPI attainment, and the dependencies between them.
- Track business value and benefit realization (roadmap readiness, engineering DPU, design-to-release cycle time); communicate via monthly steering committees and report progress and risk on the joint business and IT leadership cadence.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Provide governance for standard work and tools for tracking all digital and CI growth site work at a program level.
- Own and arbitrate dependencies across the three value streams, with authority to re-sequence delivery and reallocate execution capacity when streams contend for the same site, resource, or window.
- Own the cross-stream delivery steering across value streams and is the single escalation and decision authority for execution issues spanning the three streams (delivery steering, not portfolio governance).
- Create the integrated roadmap and coordinate cross-stream prioritization.
- Own steering governance and is the escalation authority across all three streams.
KEY SKILLS
- Advanced Leadership: Exceptional leadership skills to manage complex program activities and guide program teams.
- Strategic Planning: Expertise in developing and executing strategic program plans.
- Change Management: Proficiency in managing organizational change and ensuring smooth transitions.
- Conflict Resolution: Strong skills in resolving conflicts and addressing challenges that may arise during program execution.
- Innovation: Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement within program initiatives.
- Influence: Ability to influence and persuade stakeholders to support program objectives.
- Decision-Making: Strong decision-making skills to make informed choices that impact program success.
- Work Organization: Ability to organize work that is already in motion and make thoughtful changes to accelerate outcomes.
- Matrixed Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization.
EXPECTED OUTCOMES AND SUCCESS METRICS
- Successful Implementation of Complex Program Initiatives: Ensure that all complex program initiatives are implemented successfully, meeting the defined objectives and timelines.
- High Stakeholder Satisfaction: Maintain high levels of satisfaction among stakeholders by effectively communicating program initiatives and their impact, and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Effective Collaboration: Achieve seamless integration and alignment of complex program initiatives with the CI, digital, and operations teams.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of program strategies, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.

Which companies in Wisconsin sponsor visas for growth manager roles?
Milwaukee-based financial services firms like Northwestern Mutual and Fiserv have sponsored H-1B workers in growth and marketing strategy roles. In Madison, health tech company Epic Systems and consumer app company Fetch Rewards have hired internationally for growth-focused positions. Wisconsin's expanding e-commerce and SaaS sector also includes smaller startups that sponsor through staffing arrangements or direct petitions.
Which visa types are most common for growth manager roles in Wisconsin?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for growth manager positions in Wisconsin, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field, qualifying it as a specialty occupation. Candidates with advanced degrees may also explore the H-1B cap-exempt route if hired through a qualifying research institution. TN visas apply for Canadian and Mexican nationals in eligible business roles.
Which cities in Wisconsin have the most growth manager sponsorship opportunities?
Milwaukee and Madison account for the majority of growth manager sponsorship activity in Wisconsin. Milwaukee's concentration of financial services, insurance, and enterprise technology firms generates demand for growth professionals with analytical backgrounds. Madison benefits from proximity to the University of Wisconsin and a growing tech startup cluster, particularly in health IT and consumer apps, both of which actively recruit internationally.
How to find growth manager visa sponsorship jobs in Wisconsin?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it easier to identify growth manager roles in Wisconsin without sifting through positions that don't sponsor. You can filter by state and job category to surface relevant openings at Milwaukee and Madison employers. Migrate Mate also provides context on which companies have a documented history of H-1B sponsorship for growth and marketing roles.
Are there state-specific factors that affect visa sponsorship for growth managers in Wisconsin?
Wisconsin does not impose additional state-level licensing requirements for growth manager roles, so federal H-1B requirements govern the process. Employers must file a Labor Condition Application certifying they'll pay at least the prevailing wage for the role and location. Madison and Milwaukee have distinct prevailing wage determinations from the Department of Labor, so offers in each city reflect local market rates rather than a single statewide figure.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored growth manager jobs in Wisconsin?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
