Overview: The CNA provides direct patient care and support services to individuals within a secure correctional healthcare environment. Working under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses (LPNs/LVNs), and healthcare providers, the CNA assists with activities of daily living, monitors patient conditions, maintains accurate documentation, and contributes to the delivery of safe, compassionate, and effective healthcare services.
Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin CNA license (or ability to get reciprocity)
- Previous correctional healthcare, behavioral health, long-term care, hospital, or skilled nursing experience is preferred
- Active CPR/BLS or the ability to obtain it.
