- Commit to continuous professional growth by attending required monthly evening staff meetings and completing a minimum of 15 hours of yearly in-service training.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
What minimum qualifications you'll need:
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience. Based on Wisconsin Administrative Code Regulations, one or more of the following is required:
1) At least 18 years old and have satisfactorily completed one course for credit in early childhood education or its equivalent at an institution of higher education within 6 months after assuming the position, or;
2) At least 18 years old and have satisfactorily completed one, non-credit department-approved course in early childhood education within 6 months after assuming the position, or;
3) Have satisfactorily completed an assistant child care teacher training program approved by the Wisconsin department of public instruction. OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
