Which chemicals & materials companies sponsor TN visas in Wisconsin?
Several Wisconsin-based manufacturers have sponsored TN visas for chemicals and materials professionals. SC Johnson in Racine, Bemis Company (now part of Amcor) in Neenah, and Quaker Houghton with regional operations have all hired in relevant roles. Larger chemical distributors and specialty materials firms operating in the Milwaukee and Fox Valley corridors are also known to hire TN-eligible candidates, though sponsorship willingness varies by role and business need.
Which cities in Wisconsin have the most chemicals & materials TN sponsorship jobs?
Milwaukee is Wisconsin's primary hiring center for chemicals and materials professionals, with a concentration of manufacturing and industrial firms. Racine and Kenosha, just south of Milwaukee, host major consumer products and specialty chemical operations. The Fox Valley region, including Appleton and Neenah, has significant paper, coatings, and materials manufacturing activity. Green Bay also offers opportunities tied to packaging and industrial chemicals.
What types of chemicals & materials roles typically qualify for TN sponsorship?
TN visa eligibility in this industry is limited to specific USMCA-listed occupations. Chemical engineers and chemists are the most commonly qualifying roles, provided the position requires a relevant bachelor's degree or higher and the applicant holds that credential. Materials scientists and biochemists may also qualify depending on how the role is defined. General production, technician, or supervisory roles without a degree requirement in a specific scientific field typically do not qualify.
How do I find chemicals & materials TN sponsorship jobs in Wisconsin?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for TN-eligible professionals and filters job listings by visa type and industry, making it straightforward to search for chemicals and materials roles in Wisconsin without sorting through positions that don't offer TN sponsorship. Because TN-sponsoring employers in niche industrial states like Wisconsin are harder to identify through general searches, a targeted platform saves significant time. Migrate Mate lets you filter directly by state, visa category, and industry.
Are there any Wisconsin-specific considerations for TN sponsorship in chemicals & materials?
Wisconsin's chemicals and materials industry is heavily tied to manufacturing and industrial production, which means many roles are hands-on or operational in nature. The TN visa requires the position itself to qualify as a specialty occupation under USMCA, so roles like chemical engineer or chemist must genuinely require the relevant degree. Wisconsin employers in this sector sometimes hire for hybrid research-and-production roles, so confirming the job title and duties align with a qualifying TN category before applying is important.
