Which medical devices companies sponsor TN visas in Wisconsin?
Wisconsin's medical devices employers with TN visa sponsorship activity include Exact Sciences in Madison, Promega Corporation, GE HealthCare's Wisconsin operations, and various contract manufacturers in the Fox Valley and Milwaukee areas. Mid-size device manufacturers focused on diagnostics, surgical instruments, and imaging equipment tend to hire across engineering and regulatory disciplines where TN categories align well with role requirements.
Which cities in Wisconsin have the most medical devices TN sponsorship jobs?
Madison leads due to its concentration of diagnostics and biotech-adjacent device companies, anchored by Exact Sciences and the University of Wisconsin's research commercialization ecosystem. Milwaukee and its suburbs host manufacturing-heavy device employers spanning orthopedics and imaging. The Fox Valley region around Appleton and Oshkosh also has established medical equipment manufacturers that regularly hire engineers and quality professionals.
What types of medical devices roles typically qualify for TN sponsorship?
TN sponsorship in medical devices most commonly applies to roles requiring a specific bachelor's degree or higher in a qualifying field. Engineers (mechanical, electrical, biomedical, manufacturing) and quality assurance or regulatory affairs professionals with science or engineering degrees are frequently eligible. Scientific roles in R&D and product development also align well with TN categories when the degree-to-job-duty connection is clearly documented.
How do I find medical devices TN sponsorship jobs in Wisconsin?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for TN visa holders and lists medical devices roles in Wisconsin where employers have indicated sponsorship willingness. Rather than filtering through general job boards where TN eligibility is rarely disclosed, Migrate Mate surfaces positions relevant to Canadian and Mexican professionals in Wisconsin's device sector, covering engineering, regulatory, and quality roles across Madison, Milwaukee, and surrounding manufacturing corridors.
Are there any Wisconsin-specific considerations for TN sponsorship in medical devices?
Wisconsin's medical devices industry leans heavily on manufacturing and quality operations, so many open roles involve production environments where demonstrating the connection between a professional degree and the specific job duties is important for TN eligibility. Roles classified as technician-level rather than professional-level may not qualify under TN categories, so verifying that the position requires at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field is an important step before applying.
