Which consumer goods companies sponsor TN visas in Wisconsin?
SC Johnson, headquartered in Racine, is one of Wisconsin's most prominent consumer goods employers and has a history of hiring international professionals in technical and scientific roles. Kraft Heinz, Kohl's, and various food and beverage manufacturers based in Milwaukee and the Fox Valley region also sponsor TN visas for qualified Canadian and Mexican nationals in eligible specialty occupations.
Which cities in Wisconsin have the most consumer goods TN sponsorship jobs?
Milwaukee is Wisconsin's largest job market for consumer goods and offers the widest range of TN-eligible roles across manufacturing, supply chain, and corporate functions. Racine has concentrated opportunities through SC Johnson's global headquarters. Madison supports consumer goods positions tied to the university research community and regional distribution. Green Bay and the Fox Valley corridor are strong markets for food processing and packaging roles.
What types of consumer goods roles typically qualify for TN sponsorship?
TN sponsorship in consumer goods applies to specialty occupations requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. Commonly qualifying roles include food scientists, chemical engineers, industrial engineers, management consultants, accountants, and computer systems analysts. General management, warehouse supervisory, and sales roles that do not require a specific degree in a particular discipline typically do not meet TN specialty occupation requirements.
How do I find consumer goods TN sponsorship jobs in Wisconsin?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for TN visa holders and lists consumer goods jobs in Wisconsin where employers are open to TN sponsorship. Filtering by visa type and state lets you focus on roles that match your occupation category rather than applying broadly and discovering late that a company does not sponsor. Migrate Mate also provides guidance on which job titles align with TN-eligible occupations in the consumer goods sector.
Are there any Wisconsin-specific considerations for TN sponsorship in consumer goods?
Wisconsin's manufacturing-heavy economy means many consumer goods roles are based at plant sites or distribution centers rather than corporate offices, which can affect how employers structure TN petitions and employment verification. TN status requires employer sponsorship for each position, so a role change within the same company may require a new TN application. Wisconsin does not have state-level immigration rules, but employers in regulated industries like food and beverage may require additional professional licensing that runs on a separate timeline from TN approval.
