Which hospitality companies sponsor H-2B visas in Wyoming?
Wyoming's most active H-2B visa hospitality sponsors are typically large park concessionaires and resort operators. Xanterra Parks & Resorts, which manages lodging and dining inside Yellowstone National Park, has a well-documented H-2B filing history. Signal Mountain Lodge near Grand Teton and several Jackson Hole-area ski and dude ranch operations also appear regularly in DOL Labor Condition Application disclosure data for hospitality roles.
Which cities in Wyoming have the most hospitality H-2B sponsorship jobs?
Jackson and the gateway communities surrounding Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, including Moran and Gardiner on the Wyoming side, concentrate the majority of hospitality H-2B positions in the state. Cody, a tourism hub near Yellowstone's east entrance, also hosts seasonal hospitality employers. These areas see the strongest demand during summer peak season, with some ski-focused employers adding winter positions around Jackson Hole.
What types of hospitality roles typically qualify for H-2B sponsorship?
H-2B sponsorship in Wyoming hospitality commonly covers housekeeping attendants, front desk agents, food and beverage servers, cooks, dishwashers, and outdoor recreation guides. These positions qualify because they are tied to a clearly defined seasonal peak tied to national park visitation or ski season, the core H-2B requirement. Employers must demonstrate that U.S. workers are unavailable to fill these roles before petitioning USCIS.
How do I find hospitality H-2B sponsorship jobs in Wyoming?
Migrate Mate filters job listings by visa type and state, so you can search specifically for H-2B hospitality positions in Wyoming without wading through roles that don't offer sponsorship. Employers on the platform have verified H-2B filing history, making it straightforward to identify which lodges, resorts, and park concessionaires are actively sponsoring workers for Wyoming's summer and winter tourism seasons.
Are there state-specific considerations for H-2B hospitality workers in Wyoming?
Wyoming's H-2B hospitality market is almost entirely driven by national park and resort seasonality, so timing your application to match an employer's specific peak-season window is important. Many Wyoming employers file H-2B petitions as early as October for the following summer season, and positions fill quickly. Workers should also note that some park-adjacent roles include employer-provided housing, which affects how prevailing wage calculations are applied under DOL rules.
What is the prevailing wage for H-2B hospitality jobs in Wyoming?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
