The Role
Everpure is fundamentally reshaping the data storage industry for the AI era and we’re looking for a high-impact AI Channel Partner Manager (AICPM) to help lead that transformation. This is an incubation role. You will help define our AI channel strategy and build repeatable co-sell motions from the ground up. As enterprises move from AI experimentation to production at scale, storage infrastructure has emerged as one of the biggest constraints to performance, cost and speed. This role sits at the center of solving that problem through a focused set of high-impact partners.
What You’ll Do
- Strategic Partner Leadership: Own the end-to-end relationship and revenue growth for select AI-focused partners.
- GTM Motion: Design and execute co-sell motions (workshops, joint account targeting, campaigns). Pilot, test, repeat, scale successful sales plays and GTM motions.
- FlashBlade//EXA Evangelism: Drive the adoption of Everpure’s AI portfolio, with a focus on FlashBlade//EXA, Data Stream 1touch, and our collaboration with NVIDIA.
- Pipeline Generation: Personally drive partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline. This includes direct engagement with partner AEs, joint account mapping and hands-on deal progression.
- Enablement & Training: Drive and facilitate deep-dive sales and technical enablement sessions to ensure partner teams can effectively articulate Pure’s value proposition in the complex AI/ML landscape.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Everpure’s Scale AI and Enterprise Sales and SE teams to map accounts and close complex, large-scale deals.
- Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of the curve on AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow), GPU-accelerated computing, and the competitive landscape to keep Everpure as the partner of choice.
What You Bring
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in Channel Management or Sales within the enterprise storage, networking, or AI infrastructure industries.
- AI Domain Expertise: A proven track record of selling into the AI, Deep Learning, or HPC markets. You should understand the nuances of the AI data pipeline (Ingest, Clean, Train, Inference).
- Partner Network: Existing, deep-rooted relationships with key partners like WWT, Penguin Solutions.
- Product Knowledge: Familiarity with scale-out file and object storage (NAS) and its role in supporting GPU-heavy workloads. Experience with the FlashBlade architecture is a plus.
- Communication: Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex technical architectures for executive-level stakeholders.
The Annual Base Salary Range Is
$134,000—$307,000 USD

Target enterprise software and cloud companies
Companies like Salesforce, Oracle, and Microsoft regularly sponsor Channel Partner Manager roles because the position requires specialized knowledge of partner ecosystems, indirect sales models, and channel program structures that justify H-1B specialty occupation petitions.
Align your degree to the role's business function
USCIS requires a direct relationship between your degree field and the job duties. A degree in business administration, marketing, or management aligns cleanly. A degree in an unrelated field weakens the petition and may trigger a Request for Evidence.
Document your channel-specific experience thoroughly
Sponsoring employers must justify the specialty occupation classification. Resumes that quantify partner program outcomes, revenue generated through indirect channels, or partner recruitment numbers give immigration attorneys stronger evidence for the H-1B petition.
Expect more scrutiny at smaller companies
Small or mid-size companies sponsoring Channel Partner Managers face higher USCIS scrutiny because the role's specialty occupation status is less established than software engineering. Larger firms with documented sponsorship histories face fewer Requests for Evidence.
Ask about sponsorship early in the interview process
Many Channel Partner Manager openings list sponsorship as available but don't confirm it upfront. Raising it after an offer wastes time for both sides. Confirm that the employer has sponsored this specific role type before investing in multiple interview rounds.
Browse Migrate Mate for pre-verified sponsoring employers
Not every company that posts Channel Partner Manager roles is willing to sponsor. Migrate Mate filters for employers with active sponsorship histories, saving you the step of researching each company's H-1B filing record before applying.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is a Channel Partner Manager role considered a specialty occupation for H-1B purposes?
Yes, but it requires more documentation than technical roles. USCIS expects the employer to demonstrate that a bachelor's degree in a specific field, such as business, marketing, or management, is a standard requirement for the position, not just a preference. Job postings that say 'degree preferred' rather than 'degree required' can weaken the petition. Employers with established channel partner programs and clear degree requirements in their job descriptions have the strongest cases.
What degree do I need to qualify for H-1B sponsorship as a Channel Partner Manager?
A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, management, or a closely related field is the standard requirement. Some employers accept degrees in communications or economics if the coursework is relevant to partner strategy or indirect sales. Unrelated degrees, such as engineering or computer science without business coursework, make it harder for the employer to establish specialty occupation status, though significant channel-specific work experience can partially compensate.
Which types of employers are most likely to sponsor a Channel Partner Manager?
Enterprise software, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and hardware distribution companies are the most active sponsors. These firms run large indirect sales channels and have dedicated immigration support for business roles. Companies with established partner programs, such as those managing hundreds of resellers or value-added distributors, sponsor more frequently because the role is deeply embedded in their go-to-market structure. Browse Migrate Mate to find employers in these segments with verified sponsorship histories.
Can I get an O-1A visa as a Channel Partner Manager instead of an H-1B?
Yes, if you can demonstrate extraordinary ability in business or sales. Relevant O-1A evidence includes industry awards, published articles on channel strategy, speaking engagements at partner conferences, or a track record of building partner programs that generated significant measurable revenue. The O-1 has no annual cap or lottery, making it a viable alternative if you didn't get selected in the H-1B lottery, though the evidentiary bar is genuinely high.
How does the H-1B lottery affect my chances of getting sponsored for this role?
Channel Partner Manager roles are subject to the standard H-1B cap and lottery, which selects approximately 20 to 30 percent of eligible registrations in recent years. If your employer holds a cap-exempt status, such as a nonprofit research institution, the lottery doesn't apply, but most commercial technology companies are cap-subject. Australian citizens can bypass the lottery entirely through the E-3 visa, which covers business and management specialty occupations and has never come close to its annual allocation limit.
What is the prevailing wage requirement for sponsored Channel Partner Manager jobs?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
