Account Coordinator Jobs in Missouri: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become an account coordinator in Missouri?
Most account coordinator roles in Missouri require a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field from an accredited Missouri institution such as the University of Missouri, Saint Louis University, or Rockhurst University. The role carries no state-issued license or exam. Employers typically look for internship experience, familiarity with CRM tools, and a demonstrated ability to manage client communication and project timelines.
Which companies hire account coordinators in Missouri?
Employers hiring account coordinators in Missouri right now include True Manufacturing, Green Clean Commercial, and CBIZ, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Missouri's mix of healthcare systems, financial services firms, and regional advertising agencies creates consistent demand for account coordination talent across the state.
Which Missouri cities have the most account coordinator jobs?
O'Fallon, St. Louis, and Kansas City have the most account coordinator openings in Missouri. St. Louis and Kansas City generate the bulk of listings because of their dense concentrations of corporate headquarters, regional agency offices, and large healthcare networks, while Columbia's presence of media companies and university-affiliated organizations contributes a steady share of openings as well.
Are there remote account coordinator jobs in Missouri?
Yes, and more than many fields, because account coordination is primarily a desk-based, communication-driven role that translates well to distributed work. About 75% of account coordinator openings tied to Missouri are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting broader adoption of flexible arrangements in marketing, advertising, and client services. Fully remote openings tend to cluster in digital media and SaaS account support rather than healthcare or logistics coordination.
How can I get hired as an account coordinator in Missouri with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is an internship or entry-level client services role at a Missouri agency or corporate marketing department. Large healthcare systems such as BJC HealthCare and Saint Luke's Health System regularly bring on marketing coordinators and patient services associates that transition into account coordination. Adjacent roles like marketing assistant, sales support specialist, or project coordinator build the client communication skills Missouri employers look for. Completing a Google Analytics certification or a HubSpot content marketing credential gives candidates a measurable edge during the application process.
Where can I find and apply to account coordinator jobs in Missouri?
