INTRODUCTION
We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Coordinator to support fiber/coax outside plant construction projects by managing job creation, workflow, milestone tracking, quality control, and administrative processes throughout the project lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone with experience in HFC construction who can interpret network designs and collaborate effectively across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage construction jobs through the complete project lifecycle.
- Track, update, and reconcile project milestones to ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate with engineering, project management, field operations, permitting, finance, and other cross-functional teams.
- Monitor project workflow and resolve exceptions to established service level agreements (SLAs).
- Process funding requests, purchase orders, material reconciliation, and job estimates.
- Research contracts and agreements to support project execution.
- Manage administrative and quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Verify completion of field quality control activities and ensure all required documentation is accurate and complete.
- Review reports, analyze project data, and provide feedback to improve quality and performance.
- Ensure permits, invoices, materials, photos, footage, and required documentation are complete before closing projects.
- Confirm all project milestones are updated and finalized prior to job closeout.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience supporting telecommunications or utility construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of HFC networks and the ability to read and interpret construction/network prints.
- Experience reviewing engineering designs and coordinating field execution.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency with project tracking systems and Microsoft Office applications.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience performing quality control (QC) on fiber or telecommunications designs.
- Previous experience supporting construction project coordination or project controls.
- Familiarity with project management, milestone tracking, material management, and financial reconciliation processes.
