Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM

As an Administrative Assistant, Intermediate, you will be the welcoming face and voice of our department, helping patients navigate appointments, coordinating important information, and ensuring daily operations run smoothly. Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming telephone calls and assist patients, providers, and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
- Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments as needed.
- Check patients in and out of appointments and ensure all required information is complete.
- Distribute incoming faxes to the appropriate staff or department in a timely manner.
- Scan and upload patient documents into the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Process and maintain patient paperwork, referrals, and medical records.
- Provide patients with follow-up instructions and scheduling information.
- Respond to routine inquiries and direct calls to the appropriate team members.
- Maintain accurate patient information and appointment records.
- Assist with front desk operations and general administrative tasks.
- Ensure confidentiality of patient information and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Complete Insurance Verification and fill out required paperwork.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, providers, and colleagues.
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Three years experience in an administrative support role.
- Previous medical office, scheduling, or administrative experience preferred.
- Ability to perform advanced functions in word processing, electronic mail/calendar, spreadsheet, presentation and database software.
- Ability to use applicable MS Suite products.
- Working knowledge of business processes and procedures.
- Knowledge of basic accounting and financial principles and functions.
- Ability to analyze data and use basic reasoning skills.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
- Act 34
