ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for assembling and disassembling assembly parts, as well as having the ability to use tools and equipment that are needed to perform the operations in an industrial setting. You will make a difference by being a team player and have great listening and communication skills.
WHAT DO WE OFFER?
- Our job titles may span more than one career level. The hourly range for this role is between $19.00+ an hour.

- We also provide vacation paid and 12 paid holidays per year.
The actual hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands, and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. More information on offered benefits, which include health, welfare, and retirement, is available at mywabtecbenefits.com. Other benefit offerings for this role may include an annual bonus, if eligible.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Able to work 1st shift hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
- High School Graduate or GED.
- 1+ years of assembly experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
- Must possess the ability to use tools and equipment that are needed to perform the assembly operations in an industrial setting.
- Must have good listening and communication skills.
- Able to work well with others to be a good team player.
TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE
- Assist in daily 5s and cleaning procedures.
- Assists others in obtaining solutions to quality and production issues.
- Other duties as may be required or assigned.
- Assemble, test, and inspect according to engineering drawings and test codes.
- Work with electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, and reassemble equipment that does not pass the test.
- Maintain assembly and test equipment as required.
- Move material to and from the workstation by hand, cart, and crane as required.
- Adhere to all safety rules and procedures and maintain good housekeeping.

While performing this job's duties, for the work shift, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk, or hear; use hands to finger, handle, or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an indoor manufacturing environment. The employee will work in areas exposed to production activities including but not limited to production machinery, assembly operations, overhead crane usage, and forklift traffic. The employee will be required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to workplace hazards.
