Comfort Systems of York County in Rock Hill, SC is actively seeking an Experienced HVAC Installer to install heating and air conditioning systems for residential and light commercial. Our installers have a flexible schedule for a better work/life balance and a 40-hour work week. This position starts with a competitive salary of $50K+ a year (based on experience) plus commission opportunity.

*** Duties include: ***
- Install residential and light commercial HVAC systems and components including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, fresh air and other accessories.
- Start up of your equipment
- Follow local laws and proper install procedures
- Test HVAC systems to ensure they are functioning properly and meeting factory performance standards after installation
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions
- Using our dispatching software to check in and out of jobs, create proposals, create invoices and make recommendations to customers.
- Reports to general manager
*** Qualifications ***
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a drug test
- EPA certification for handling refrigerants (Type I and II or Universal)
- Proven experience as an HVAC installer ( At least 1-2 years experience preferred)
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of HVAC systems
- Proficiency in using tools and equipment common to the HVAC trade
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to clients
- Ability to use software required for the job. This includes dispatching software, smart phones, email etc.
