Job Summary: Universal Bankers are responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while building and maintaining customer relationships at the bank branch. This role supports a variety of banking functions including transactional services, account opening, consumer lending support, digital banking education, and identifying customer financial needs.
Level placement is based on experience, knowledge, and demonstrated banking expertise. Each level builds upon responsibilities, knowledge, and expectations of the preceding level. Universal Banker I (Assistant)
Starting Pay Range: $16-$18/hour
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service during all customer interactions
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, recognizing red flags regarding frauds and scams
- Assist customers with basic account maintenance and digital banking tools
- Perform teller functions including but not limited to receiving checks and cash for deposit, verifying cash and endorsement, issuing receipts, issuing cashier’s checks, cashing checks, and paying out fund upon verification of signature and balance, balancing of cash drawer and maintaining established cash level.
