Position Summary

The Business Development Representative serves as the face of Pathways Recovery Center throughout the community. This individual is responsible for developing and maintaining strategic referral relationships, identifying new business opportunities, representing the organization at community events, and generating qualified admissions to support the continued growth of our programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, cultivate, and maintain referral relationships with hospitals, detox facilities, therapists, physicians, case managers, sober living providers, EAPs, community organizations, and other referral sources.
• Generate consistent, qualified client referrals and admissions through strategic outreach and relationship management.
• Conduct in-person visits, presentations, and educational meetings with referral partners.
• Represent Pathways Recovery Center at networking events, conferences, health fairs, and community outreach initiatives.
• Identify new referral opportunities and create strategies to expand market presence.
• Collaborate closely with the Admissions and Clinical teams to ensure a seamless referral and intake process.
• Maintain regular communication with referral partners to strengthen long-term relationships.
• Track outreach activities, referrals, admissions, and business development metrics.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and community resources.
• Maintain a professional image that reflects the mission and values of Pathways Recovery Center.
• Assist in developing marketing strategies and community engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred. Equivalent business development or behavioral healthcare experience will be considered.
• Minimum of 2 years of business development, healthcare marketing, admissions, or behavioral health outreach experience preferred.
• Established relationships within the South Florida behavioral healthcare community are highly desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong networking, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet performance goals.
• Organized with excellent time management and follow-through.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
