Overview
As a Patient Care Coordinator, you’ll help patients navigate each step of their care, from scheduling appointments to understanding administrative requirements. You’ll keep information organized, communicate clearly with patients and clinical team, and support a welcoming, efficient Oral surgery Clinic.
Your impact: Accurate coordination and timely communication help patients access care and help clinical teams stay focused on treatment.
Duties
- Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and coordinate follow-up care using patient management software.
- Provide medical administrative support, including document preparation, data entry, typing, and routine office tasks.
- Communicate with patients by phone and other channels, answer questions, and direct requests to the appropriate team member.
- Verify health insurance information and support patients with administrative steps related to coverage.
- Handle confidential patient information carefully and follow applicable health regulation policies and office procedures.
- The ideal candidate will provide exceptional front desk and reception services, coordinate patient appointments, assist with insurance and financial processes, and support administrative tasks to ensure a smooth and welcoming patient
Skills
- Customer service, client communication, and phone communication skills, with a professional, patient-focused approach.
- Oral Surgery /Dental terminology and knowledge of insurances and health regulation policies is preferred.
- Medical/Dental office experience and medical administrative support experience are relevant; general office experience is also valuable
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
