At Swank Family Hearing, our mission is to define the highest standard of hearing health care services through a commitment to patient care, education, and community service. We offer various services to patients ranging in age from newborn to 100+ years old. Our goal is to provide personalized care for each individual and their family. As the Patient Care Coordinator, you will be the first and last point of contact for our patients. Your work will be integral to deliver an exceptional experience for them.

Responsibilities include:
- Warmly greeting patients and other visitors
- Answering phones in a prompt and courteous manner
- Outbound calling to current and prospective patients
- Entering and updating all patient information including intake and insurance forms
- Scheduling appointments
- Receiving funds and processing payments
- Maintaining excellent working relationships with patients, vendors, colleagues, etc.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in administration, accounting, sales, healthcare, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with patients, colleagues, and external partners.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent listening, problem-solving, and service recovery skills.
- Ability to accurately process and track financial transactions, including payments, reconciliations, and basic accounting functions.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Demonstrates empathy, compassion, and professionalism in all interactions.
- Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in data entry, documentation, and recordkeeping.
- Proficiency with office systems, including scheduling software, electronic medical records (EMR), and basic computer applications.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in accordance with privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
- Willingness and ability to travel for training or professional development, as required by the practice
Pay & Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate ($18-$20 DOE)
