INTRODUCTION

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our busy specialty medical practice. The ideal candidate is compassionate, professional, technology-savvy, and enjoys working in a collaborative team environment while delivering exceptional patient service.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Welcome patients and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
• Answer and direct incoming calls using a multi-line phone system
• Collect patient copays and process payments accurately
• Maintain current patient demographic and insurance information
• Perform accurate data entry and update electronic medical records as needed
• Take detailed messages and assist with referral coordination
• Provide administrative support to ensure smooth daily office operations
• Help maintain an organized, efficient, and patient-focused front office environment

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience as a medical receptionist is required
• Knowledge of ICD diagnosis coding preferred
• Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new software systems
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities
• Typing speed of 25–30 WPM
• Experience with eClinicalWorks is a plus
• Bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply

SCHEDULE

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• One-hour lunch break
