About the Role
IES Communications is looking for a driven B2B sales professional to grow our Houston market. This role focuses on developing new business, expanding existing client relationships, and creating long-term partnerships with end-user clients.
We're open to strong sales professionals from within the telecommunications, low-voltage, technology, security, or construction industries, as well as top performers from other B2B industries who are comfortable selling to executives, developers, healthcare leaders, and construction professionals.
What You'll Do
- Develop new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and relationship building.
- Build and grow relationships with clients and senior-level decision makers.
- Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts, including recurring services and future projects.
- Manage opportunities from initial outreach through close while maintaining an accurate sales pipeline and forecast.
- Develop and manage your assigned territory with a high degree of independence.
- Partner with internal teams to develop proposals, pursue opportunities, and ensure a smooth transition from sales to operations.
- Serve as a trusted client partner and help resolve issues to strengthen long-term relationships.

- Technical industry experience (telecommunications, low-voltage, construction, technology, or security) is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
