Hancock is a community that brings together small-town values, rich history and a four-season wonderland for outdoor enthusiasts — without long commute times or congested highways. The Keweenaw is home to two universities — Michigan Technological University and Finlandia University. The community benefits from the diversity, culture and high standards of living contributed to our small town. We often call the Keweenaw the "Copper Country" because of the amount of natural "float" copper found in the area. In fact, at 90% pure, much of the copper is the purest copper in the world.
Welcome, to the Keweenaw Peninsula!

Clinical Dietitian Jobs in Michigan: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a clinical dietitian in Michigan?
To work as a clinical dietitian in Michigan, you must earn the Registered Dietitian Nutritionist credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration after completing an accredited bachelor's or graduate program in dietetics and an ACEND-approved supervised practice or dietetic internship. Michigan does not currently maintain a separate state licensure for dietitians, so the RDN credential is the primary qualification Michigan employers require for clinical roles.
How much do clinical dietitians make in Michigan?
Clinical dietitians in Michigan earn a median of about $66,850 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $48,420 for the lowest 10% to over $84,530 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire clinical dietitians in Michigan?
Employers hiring clinical dietitians in Michigan right now include Tenet Healthcare, Trinity Health, and UP Health System, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Michigan's large integrated health systems, including Corewell Health and Henry Ford Health, tend to post the most consistent volume of clinical dietitian openings across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Which Michigan cities have the most clinical dietitian jobs?
Detroit, Southfield, and Ithaca are the Michigan cities with the most clinical dietitian openings. Detroit drives the highest volume given its concentration of major academic medical centers and large health systems, while Grand Rapids and Ann Arbor generate steady demand through Corewell Health's network and Michigan Medicine's academic hospital complex respectively.
Are there remote clinical dietitian jobs in Michigan?
Yes, but they're rare. Clinical dietitian work is largely hands-on, requiring bedside patient assessment and direct care coordination that cannot move fully remote. About 25% of clinical dietitian openings tied to Michigan are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, with telehealth nutrition counseling and outpatient wellness consulting representing the portions of the role most compatible with off-site work.
How can I get hired as a clinical dietitian in Michigan with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is applying directly to new-graduate dietetic internship positions or clinical nutrition assistant roles at large Michigan health systems such as Corewell Health or Michigan Medicine, both of which offer structured onboarding for candidates finishing their supervised practice hours. Lateral entry from nutrition services aide or diet technician registered roles is common, and having a completed ACEND-supervised practice program plus a scheduled RDN exam date significantly strengthens applications for these positions.
Where can I find and apply to clinical dietitian jobs in Michigan?
You can find and apply to clinical dietitian jobs in Michigan on Migrate Mate, which lists current Michigan openings across health systems, outpatient clinics, and long-term care facilities. Find roles that fit your background and apply directly.
