Join the ASPIRE program at Seattle Children’s! We are an energetic, forward-thinking team dedicated to supporting pediatric surgical research and innovation. Our surgeons are at the forefront of medicine, developing and studying cutting-edge techniques across multiple specialties, including otolaryngology and urology.
In this role, you will collaborate with diverse, multidisciplinary research teams across the organization to successfully implement, manage, and complete groundbreaking clinical drug and device research trials.
Key Responsibilities
- Trial Management: Organize protocol implementations, coordinate site initiation visits, and conduct routine monitoring of ongoing clinical studies.
- Regulatory Compliance: Create, update, and maintain comprehensive regulatory documentation.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all research projects are strictly conducted in compliance with federal regulations, institutional policies, departmental guidelines, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.
- Collaboration: Act as a key liaison between surgical investigators, research teams, and institutional stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
- A detail-oriented professional with a passion for pediatric healthcare and surgical innovation.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple research protocols simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across different medical specialties.
- Familiarity with GCP guidelines and clinical trial regulatory frameworks.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of two (2) years of research-related experience OR Master’s Degree in related discipline and one (1) year of research-related experience.
Confirmed proficiency in a second language via successful completion of a language assessment may be required for certain departments.
Required Credentials
Current Driver's license from the state of residence may be required for certain departments.
Preferred
- Experience managing industry-sponsored clinical trials
- CCRA certification
- Database management skills
- Pediatric research experience
Compensation Range
$35.28 - $52.92 per hour
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
